This will be Mike’s fifth season at the helm of the Colts. Prior to coming to San Angelo, the Colts GM spent one season working in football as the General Manager of the Odessa Roughnecks.

The Houston native started his career as a GM when he was promoted from Assistant General Manager during the 1995 season of the Gaston King Cougars of the Atlantic Coast League. He also served as the General Manager for the Rockford RiverHawks, who were the 2004 Champions of the Frontier League. In 1996 and 1997, he worked for the Massachusetts Mad Dogs of the North Atlantic League and Northeast League in 1996 and 1997, setting records both on the field with the help of his Manager George “The Boomer” Scott, and off the field in sales. Mike also worked for the Houston Astros from 1992-1995 where he set sales records and was one of only two sales staff employees to weather the 1994 baseball strike.
In addition, Mike served in the United States Marine Corps from 1984-1987. He currently lives in Sterling City with his wife Rebecca and dogs Buddy and Annie. His daughter Heather and Grandson Logan live in New York. He enjoys music, hunting and traveling.
