2009: Returned to the Colts where he hit .275 with nine homers and 42 RBIs in 74 games...had four three RBI games, 6/21 (Rio Grande), 6/27 (Coastal Bend), 7/14 (Coastal Bend)...and 8/14 Coastal Bend...had a career-high five hits in five ABs while driving in two runs on 7/11 against Rio Grande 2008: Signed by the Chicago White Sox in May and reported to low-A Kannapolis (NC)...hit .250 in 19 games with three homers and nine RBIs in only 68 ABs...made an immediate impact by homering and driving in two runs in his first game against Lakewood on 5/9...the homerun was his first hit with the Intimidators...went 3-4 with a homer, double, three runs scored and a career-high five RBIs on 5/12 against Delmarva...was promoted to high-A Winston-Salem on 8/10...played in 18 games with the Wart Hogs hitting .295 with five RBIs in 61 ABs...went 1-3 and drove in two runs on 8/13 vs. Wilmington...went 3-4, doubled and drove in a run on 8/23 against Myrtle Beach...went 4-5 with a double, triple and two runs scored on 8/31 against Frederick 2007: Garnered United League Baseball Rookie of the Year honors by hitting .334 with 19 HRs and 53 RBIs...had at least one hit in 26 of the teams first 27 games...hit .345 over that span (39-113)...drove in a career-high four runs, homered and tripled while going 4-8 on 5/29 against Alexandria...ironically, he made his professional pitching debut that night and took the loss whle giving up an earned run and striking out one in 1.2 innings of work...had one multi-homer game on 8/5 against Amarillo...drove in three runs, doubled and scored twice in the contest as well...had four four-hit games on the year,5/22 (Rio Grande), 5/29 (Alexandria), 7/9 (Alexandria), and 8/10 (Edinburg)...combined for 3 HRs and 11 RBIs in those contests 2006: Played in nine games with the Colts following his senior season at Angelo State...picked up first professional hit by doubling against Amarillo in his first professional game on 7/21...scored a run on 8/23 against Edinburg Previous: Local product who played collegiately at Angelo State...had a tremendous senior season hitting .417 and leading the team with nine homers and 59 RBIs...also led team in runs (66), hits (80) and total bases (125), slugging (.667), times hit (12) and on-base percentage (.504).as a junior he hit .344 with two homers and 38 RBIs in 50 games.
